"Still useful, but it used to feel smoother"
This does help keep my menu bar more organized, which I appreciate, but I feel like it used to be better. The setup feels a bit fiddly now, and I found myself getting confused more than I expected

I’m usually the person who gets confused setting up any kind of app, but Mac Bartender was super easy. I downloaded it, opened it, and my menu bar was cleaned up within a few minutes. I barely had to read anything or dig through settings. It just kind of works the way you’d expect, and I feel like pretty much everyone would get it right away.

I’m using the latest macOS, and so far MacBartender has been working fine, no weird issues really. The setup was quick, and with my other apps it didn’t mess around or anything. What I mostly like is that in the background it just runs and on the system feels normal. Nice having something that after updates still stays compatible.

I bought it and it’s been running okay so far. I still have the receipt and the emails from when I signed up, and after the ownership change I found myself double-checking those and paying more attention than usual. I’m still using it for now, just keeping an eye on updates and seeing how things go

"Finally sorted out my notch mess"
I mostly got Bartender because the notch on my MacBook kept eating half my menu bar icons, which was driving me a little nuts. Especially when I had apps open with a bunch of menu options and everything just felt... crammed in there.
Once I set it up, the whole menu bar felt way cleaner. Took me a bit of clicking around to get it how I wanted, but nothing complicated. Now I can actually choose what shows and what stays hidden, and the screen just feels less chaotic. Easy 5 stars from me

I was getting so annoyed with how cramped my menu bar looked, and this actually fixed it. The icon spacing works really well, and once you set it up, you can immediately tell everything feels cleaner and easier to look at...

I’ve been using Bartender for a while now, and the “show on update” feature is kind of the whole reason I stick with it. My menu bar stays clean, but if Dropbox or whatever changes, it just pops up for a second so I actually notice it. Setup was easy, no messing around. It just sort of does the thing in the background, which is... yeah, exactly what I wanted

Just a warning for anyone trying this out: it does work, but the setup was more annoying than I expected. The app found my menu bar items quickly, which was nice, but the permission prompts and random popups made the whole thing feel clunky. I eventually got it working after a few tries, but the onboarding really needs to be clearer so people aren’t stuck guessing what to do.

I use keyboard shortcuts constantly, and Bartender has made my Mac menu bar so much less annoying. It only took a few minutes to set up, and now it just feels like it should’ve always worked this way. i’m really happy with it—anyone else feel like it becomes normal almost immediately?
